One in ten people in England and Wales have been victims of Cyber Crime in the past year and Cyber Crime now makes up 48% of all recorded criminal incidents according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). 'Cyber crime' is a term used to define any crime in which a computer is the object of the crime (hacking, phishing, spamming) or is used as a tool to commit an offense (cyber stalking, hate crimes).
