PKA Kickboxing - Spital Pavilion

PKA Castle Donington is a brand new club offering classes to all ages and abilities. Focusing on the non contact elements of Kickboxing and the instructor, assistant instructors and coaching team all help to ensure you get the most from your workout. The club has separate junior and ladies only classes every Wednesday.

The club is taught by 1st Degree Black Belt Instructor Sam Trickett who has over 7 years Kickboxing experience.

Knit & Natter - Community Hub Cafe

Wednesdays 10 am

This is a group held at the Community Hub every Wednesday morning from 10 am. Independently started but open to the public. A great way to learn a new skill, catch up socially, and enjoy cake!

Kyokushinkai Karate - Spital Pavilion

Derby Kyokushinkai Karate dojo has been holding classes for over 25 years, training students of all ages. Kyokushinkai is famous for it's 'knockdown full contact' style of fighting. In addition to they we practice non and semi contact fighting so there is something to suit everyone.

Language For Fun - Community Hub

These are Language for Fun Adult classes in French and Spanish, no homework, no stress and lots of opportunity to practice in a friendly atmosphere.

Stretch & Fit Pilates - Community Hub

Unique method of Pilates, incorporating many traditional Pilates exercises and yoga based safe stretching, suits a range of abilities improving mobility with an emphasises on the importance of muscle balance before development of core strength.

Sweaty Mamas - Community Hub

Instructor Magda Chiotoglou

Sweaty Mama is a unique and effective way to exercise whilst you bond with your child. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages & development of the child as well as suit the fitness level of the Mama.

Tiny Talk - Community Hub

TinyTalk classes are 1hr classes is split into two halves. The first half - signing, singing and sensory activities. The second half - social time for babies and carers. There are refreshments and toys provided. This social time is great for meeting other mums and dads in the area and sharing stories (stresses and successes!).

Volunteer Centre Groups

Easy Movers - Helping senior citizens stay fit and mobile, Held at the Spital Pavilion Monday 1pm - 3pm

Friday Club - A social and supportive gathering for seniors who struggle to get out or live alone. Held at the Community Hub with different activities each week, including: guest speakers, parties, games or outings. Always cake available

Grow Cut Share - This is a social meal held once a month for senior members of the community. Food is donated or grown on the Volunteers centres Castle Donington Allotment.

Youth Club - Community Hub

Castle Donington Youth club is for ages 10 - 17 and is every other Friday evening from 6:30pm - 9pm at the Community Hub.

Entrance is £2 per person. activities include: a tuck shop, table tennis, table football 2 x Nintendo Wii and crafting and quieter activity stations. The Club is run by a group of (CRB checked) volunteers who run a no tolerance of bullying and negative behaviour policy. This is a safe and inclusive environment for all those who attend.
