The new Community Hub is progressing well, with completion of main works mid-September, then flooring, then ancillary bits like seats, tables, crockery, etc etc.
It is hoped that the facility will be ready for hire early to mid-October.

Castle Donington Parish Council has received a an update from the Multi Agency Traveller Unit this morning the Travellers were originally sited on private land so Bailiffs were contacted who successfully moved the Travellers from the private land. Castle Donington Parish Council is aware of the Traveller encampment on Back Lane and is Liaising with the Police and the Multi Agency Traveller Unit with Leciestershire County Council who are working to get the encampment moved on. Castle Donington Parish Council will provide an update when information is received.
