Superfast Broadband has arrived
Leicestershire County Council is pleased to announce that superfast fibre broadband has now arrived in broadband cabinets Castle Donington 23 and 24 on Park Lane and Walton Hill, thanks to the council's multimillion point project, Superfast Leicestershire, which is being delivered in partnership with Openreach.
Superfast Leicestershire started in July 2014 and has since delivered fibre broadband connections to almost 70,000 homes and businesses across the city and county.
Fibre broadband is not just faster than the old copper wires but also more reliable and can withstand more regular use.
A superfast fibre broadband connection can make a world of difference to your personal and professional life; from being able to work remotely from home, downloading your favourite shows and movies in a matter of minutes, upgrading your home with smart technology, or just being able to use multiple devices at once.
The upgrade is not automatic you must talk to your provider about making the switch to fibre broadband. However, this is a good opportunity to shop around for the best deals for you, saving you money in the long run whilst enjoying a multitude of new benefits through superfast broadband.
If you have any questions regarding upgrading the Superfast Leicestershire Team at Leicestershire County Council would be happy to help, get in touch on 0116 305 0023 or firstname.lastname@example.org
