Garden waste and cardboard collections will continue monthly until further notice.
We understand these collections are important to you - we continue to review when it is safe to resume normal fortnightly collections.

As you are aware, letters are currently being sent out to all residents with their new monthly garden waste collection dates.
Letters are being sent out in stages over the next couple of weeks (with residents with nearer collections being prioritised first) – not all residents will receive them at the same time.

Following a meeting with Miller Homes the latest information is the 895 house development North and South of Park Lane will now start in January 2018. A roundabout will be constructed on the road between Donington Park and Hill Top with an aim to complete the relief road in 18 months. The North West Leicestershire Local Plan has been approved by the Planning Inspector, giving the district a clear idea of how it will develop and grow over the next 15 years.
The plan, which includes policies on housing, employment, infrastructure and transport, will go before Full Council in November to be formally adopted.
